Often true, but does it beg the question. What betrayals, injustices, disappointments and violations of trust, have brought us to this place. And how do we heal that and find our way back. How do we shed the protective armor that now 'protects' us from what we long for.

We shed the armor by being vulnerable, imperfect, and showing up when it’s difficult to. We carry love in our hearts and allow messiness in our interactions. We stop thinking that safety is the absence of discomfort when really it’s the ability to speak the truth and be present for repair.

In short, WE TRY.
